PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This medal is an interesting testimony to the construction of the Palais de l'Industrie, built for the 1855 Universal Exhibition on the Champs Elysées in Paris. It was designed by architect Victor Viel and engineer Alexis Barrault. The palace was finally demolished in 1896 to make way for the Petit Palais and Grand Palais.
