Since the beginning of 2017, Umicore has been offering new bars for sale. Always accompanied by their certificate of authenticity, they are available in different weights, from 1g to 100g.

They differ from previous products in that they are sold in moulded blister packs, which offer real added value both aesthetically and commercially. Each ingot is numbered on the blister to ensure traceability, while the solidity of the packaging guarantees optimum preservation of the product.

The blister packs have been designed in three formats, and include not only the one-ounce bankcard-sized ingot, but also the 50g and 100g. All these products have LBMA Good Delivery status, as well as additional certifications.

The security hologram is a major technological advance, providing proof of the ingot's authenticity and protecting the buyer from any counterfeiting. Umicore attaches particular importance to preserving the environment, which is why a large majority of their gold is recycled from used technological equipment.
