PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

First issued in 1995, the Australian Lunar series celebrates the animals of the Chinese lunar calendar (Zodiac) featuring the mouse, ox, tiger, rabbit, dragon, snake, horse, goat, monkey, rooster, dog and pig in a 12-year cycle.

The 2022 coin features the Tiger, a symbol of determination, courage, confidence and charm. People under the influence of the Tiger sign are born in 1950, 1962, 1974, 1986, 1998, 2010 and 2022.

OBVERSE :

Each coin depicts a fearless tiger standing on a spike, jaws open to reveal razor-sharp canines. The design includes the inscription "TIGER 2022", the Chinese character for "tiger" and the mintmark "P" of the Perth Mint.

REVERSE :

The reverse of the coin features the bust of Queen Elizabeth II in profile, the weight and fineness of the coin and its denomination.
