Since 2008, the Monnaie de Paris has been honouring a numismatic symbol over three years by revisiting it through the codes of contemporary numismatics. After the Sower and Hercules, this year, the Rooster, the animal representative of France par excellence, is highlighted.

Like its predecessors in Facial Value, the rooster will be developed over 3 years. Thanks to its design evolution from year to year, it will allow two types of collection:
Horizontal: the same face value each year with a different design.
Vertical: all denominations of the same year with the same design.

Also available:

OBVERSE : Nous retrouvons inscrit sur l'avers de la pièce en Argent 10 Euro Le Coq : RÉPUBLIQUE FRANÇAISE ainsi que sa valeur faciale (EURO 10) entourée de deux branches, l'une de chêne, l'autre de laurier, qui évoquent le sigle de l'Euro.
REVERSE : On retouve le profil droit d'un coq chantant.
Egalement la devise de la France: LIBERTE, EGALITE, FRATERNITE ainsi que le millésime de la pièce 2014.
